ceasarean births are evil. 31% of all deliveries? that's just convenience for OBs, and has nothing to do with what's best for mamas and babies.

other countries with lower neonatal morbidity and mortality rates have much lower c-section rates than the US. Of course many of those countries offer "woman-centered care", e.g. community midwives, home births, you name it.

I'll step off my high horse now.
