NaNo ID: doogie
NaNo since: 2003

Working title: Untitled.
WIP Genre: Romance/satire/humour.
Projected word count: 50,000.

AT THE START: DO YOU...
Have an Outline? No.
Scene-by-scene? No
Know how it starts? Yes.
Know how it ends? No.
Have your climax in order? No.
Know your main characters yet? I have character reference sheets for all main characters.
Have a particular tone in mind? Yes.
Plan to Draw on your own experiences? I plan to draw on my reading experiences. Not my life experiences.

IS YOUR WORK GOING TO BE:
Funny? I hope.
Serious? No.
Sad? No.
Semi-Autobiographical? No.
Based on another story? It's based on a set of stories using tired clichés.
Influenced by any authors/current publications? Not as such.

HOW MUCH HAVE YOU PLANNED? HAVE YOU USED:
A paper journal? No.
Pens? See above. No.
Multicolored pens? No.
A computer? Yes.
Index cards? No.
Lists? Yes.
Bulleted lists? No.
Plot Charts? No.
Character Charts? I have a character reference sheet and profile information.
Character formulas? Yes.
Favorite writing resource: None at the moment.

ODDS AND ENDS
A line you would like to use: "There's something about you."
A scene you would like to include: Love scene in the rain. It's as cliché as it gets. Probably with the Viking. Possibly the Lord.
A concept you would like to explore: Romance.
A cliche you would like to avoid: I think I'd be more likely to swerve to include a cliché than to accidentally leave one out.
A character you would like to use: spiritual advisor (and by spiritual, I mean a ghost).

FORWARD THINKING
Do you expect to be able to complete it? Not sure.
Do you intend to complete it? Yes, if I can.
Could you ever try to publish it? Depends how it turns out.
What do you expect to get out of this month of frantic writing? A romance book worthy of the concept: "Do not let your eyes linger on any erotic bus-shelter advertising! Wayne is watching!"

I should put up the Halloween pictures too.
