Thanks for reminding me that I wanted to tell asenathwaite99 that we got the "Save the Date" card yesterday. Just in case fraggle42 has the genetic control-freak tendencies that 'cause hoppie to mail himself a card whenever he does mass mailings to get an idea when they arrive.
I'm not like that. When I mail something, I cast it to the winds and consider my part accomplished. What happens after it hits the post office is someone else's problem. I think I picked up this attitude from the black hole that was my university's post office. You could mail something there, and it would leave between one and four days later, but still be correctly postmarked. Great for floating bill payments, not that I ever needed that.
