|01:53 pm - My letter is "T"|
This is a twist on the Letter Meme. Instead of coming up with ten items for a certain letter, you come up with five song titles for a certain letter and explain why you picked them. If interested then leave a comment. I'll give you a letter. You post this blurb in yourjournal along with your list.
"Tell Her About It" Billy Joel - This is the first song that popped into my head. It makes sense as it's a catchy tune, which is not likely to be stuck in all ya'll's heads for the rest of day. Don't mind me. I'll just sit back here and be smug.
"Temptation" Destiny's Child - Mmmmm, crushes.
"Talking, Talking" The Moody Blues - The flip side to "Your Wildest Dreams," which was the first Moody Blues song I'd ever heard (before I really even knew who they were or got the exposure (*cough hr_macgirl*) to them that I got in college.)
"Take it Easy" The Eagles (I originally was going to use "Take on Me" by A-Ha, but I didn't want to use too "Take" songs) A classic feel-good song. Just this weekend my cousin (hoppie's cousin) showed me a picture of himself standing on a corner in Winslow, AZ. Go figure.
"The Things We Do for Love" 10CC - It's just a compromise of the things we do for love. This is another song that typifies my relationship with hoppie. We had it played at our wedding. It took runner up to "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps" in the "bride/groom" song. ("Getting Married Today" is one hoppie wouldn't let me put on the list. It's just like his sister vetoed "Mambo #5" as her wedding. It's just this thing that they do.)
Anyway, anyone want a letter?

|06:14 pm - When do the good things start?|
Both of my dreams were depressing last night. I think I feel alienated and abandoned.

I got a call this afternoon from Drive Savers. Actually from TechSuperpowers. They got a call from DriveSavers. The disk is unrecoverable.
They are sending the drive back. I am thinking I might bring my old mac to TS to have them load the data onto the new mac drive.
I can recover some of the stuff I guess. At least I have some various and sundry media I can cobble things together with:

Now if that don't put you in the spirit of the holiday, nothing will.
