01:41 pm - No one has been beaten, but...
I repeat what I said this time two years ago.

Only this time, Hoppie and I voted at 7:30 which turned out to be brilliant because I think we were between rushes. Or my town wasn't as heavy as others, but I find that hard to believe. I've been to town meeting.

Our ballot had this order:
Baldwin/Castle
Barr/Root
McCain/Palin
McKinney/Clemente
Nader/Gonzalez
Obama/Biden

But I'm told that the order is selected by lot, so it's merely coincidental that it's alphabetical.

The school we vote at had a bake sell table set up out near the sign-bearers. We don't know what they had because we steered clear.

There was an extra ballot question on our ballot that I wasn't prepared for: A non-binding referendum to allow purchase of marijuana for medicinal purposes.

I feel like I've forgotten something, but it may occur to me later.

03:50 pm - it's like therapy...
Infertility haiku contest.
I'm actually feeling a measure of...comfort in looking at this misery.

My entries will be in a subsequent friends-locked entry.
