Writing for Ivan is fun. I take everything that I would say in reply and write it out. Then I chop out all the explanations of why Ivan thinks or feels, until I'm left with only what Ivan would actually say. Then I post it.

"No one cares what my opinions and feelings are. They're always automatically dismissed. So I stopped talking about it, stopped offering my ideas. I leave the opinions for Miles. People sometimes care what he has to say."

If that's all it takes to make you sympathize with Ivan, I recommend you don't read my Ivan and Cordelia thread.

The trouble with that way of writing is that Cordelia is left with very few clues to replace the facial expressions etc that people use RL to add context to what other people say....

But I don't mind... it just annoys Cordelia. Do you REALLY want to annoy Cordelia?
