I dreamt that they were playing the World Series out at the ballfield I used to watch my dad play at. Terry Francona was managing the White Sox and after the game, I asked him if I could have one of the World Series bats. He said yes, but he'd already offered the bat Paul Konerko had made the last out of the game (although that obviously doesn't make sense for last night's game) with to him and he wanted it.
I was thinking to myself how stupid that was, but they explained to me that it was the bat that preserved the 2-1 lead. And I'm thinking "uh, no, that would be the opposing bats," but whatever. I probably wouldn't have picked that bat anyway. It was just odd. Then I debated on what bat to pick, did I pick by person or pick by appearance of the bat (color and matching decorating schemes and all that. I'm such a girl, it's disgusting.) Then I woke up.
