01:28 pm - Signs of mental illness
I'm tempted to buy the complete Nancy Drew collection (new/hardcover/boxed set) for 93$. I never even liked Nancy Drew as a kid. Why is this a temptation?!

Good question, especially when it would take away from your viewing of Walking Boston Stereotype Jerry Remy.

I want to stab myself in the face every time I hear him speak.

That's why real men listen to the radio and mute the TVs.

The only choice I have is to watch NESN or to mute it and listen to XM about 30 plays behind what happens. :)

If you were a member of Red Sox Nation, you could listen to Gameday Audio on your computer!

Right, and that's perfectly up-to-date with the TV, too.

Now, I liked (and like) Nancy Drew, but I wouldn't be tempted by the new versions. First of all, at least 1 of the titles, and I think 2 or more had more than one story with the same name (I have 2 copies of the Whispering Statue, both with very different stories), the new ones have been modernized and in ways I don't really like, and the ones written by the ghost writers versus the ones written by the original writer do get worse as time goes on.
