And then after I stopped feeling sorry for myself...

Reading Robin's comment, it occurred to me even though I don't know have useful contact information for my uncles, aunts, and cousins, I do have my grandmother's home phone number. And it's quite likely everyone will be there.

So I just spoke to my Aunt Jeri. She's shaken, but solid. Feeling overwhelmed, I think. I gave her my phone number and assured her we could help with whatever they need. They wanted to do the funeral tomorrow, but there's just not enough time to prepare. Right now it's looking like Sunday at 10:30 AM (gack!) If that's the case, we'll want directions to the funeral home.

A hand is what it is, but how you play it is your choice.
