|08:44 am - Charlotte|
Things I have done:
Printed TripTik with directions from airport to hotel, hotel to office, airport to office, hotel to Brian & Sissy
Printed reservations, itinerary and confirmation numbers
Put Darby O'Gill and the Little People on ipod
Replaced missing earbud cushion on favorite headphones
Established that we'll call Brian when we get in
Arranged back up plans for Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon in case we're not spending them with family.
Spoke to office and alerted them to possible presence tomorrow
Packed Shabbos light cover for Dad. (which I don't think is as good as the old ones..but it's the only one they had, so it wins)
Things I have not done:
Purchased batteries for camera, as am not sure whether to bring camera. I'm leaning towards yes, but then I definitely need to get batteries because I'm quite sure they don't sell them in Charlotte.
Packed cellphone charger(s)
Packed light pink yarn
There were more things on that list. May edit during the day.
Oh, and fyi lowercaseb, since you didn't watch the game last night, you didn't hear the Fox announcers talking about the Red Sox are going to lose the World Series because they won Game 1 by too many runs.
Current Mood: anxious
Current Music: Blues Travler - Run Around
Lose because of to many runs...I went to bed around 10 so I missed mosto f the game...but wow...that is sad of them to say.
There are about two or three FOX announcers to whom I lend a ton of credence. You know at least one of them.
The Rockies are a total fraud (I've been saying this for weeks now, as you know), and it took a team like Boston to bear that out.
You and the rest of the fandom should be happy...looks like title #2
is on the way in pretty short order.

you also need directions from the hotel to the cemetery.
bring the camera.
I thought about that, but couldn't remember which cemetery.

I can't imagine why you would even consider not bringing the camera.
And why wouldn't they sell batteries in Charlotte? Or are they some special kind of battery?
I was kidding about the batteries. The thought process went like this:
I'm out of batteries! I'd have to buy batteries today.
(sarcastic inner voice) because obviously Charlotte, NC would not carry AA batteries.
The reason why I wouldn't bring the camera, is it's not really a social gathering and not having the camera leaves me free to focus on being with people instead of being detached.
Bring the camera and the batteries. It may not be appropriate to take photos and if it isn't, then don't take any. However if you find yourself in a position where you want to take pictures and can't because of no camera....oh regret.
