If not an online catalog, do you use any other method to catalog your book collection? Excel spreadsheets, index cards, a notebook, anything?
I do not use online cataloguing systems, because I don't need to. I've got my Palm. I've had my Palm for 8 years this month (Happy Birthday, BTW!) and the first application I put on was jfile to catalog my books and I spent the first several months (years?) entering books into the book database. Today the book database stands at 2,225 books and this does not include the majority of my disposable romance novels. Once I get the bookshelves up and all the books on it, I'm going to cross-check the book database against what I have to compensate for any attrition or entropy that may have settled into the book database.
I'm looking forward to that for next year.
