It was probably as well for us that we had Shabbos with N & E. It gave me a chance to catch up on live for them. With N's new job, I've not been sure when good times were to talk to her. And even when we did talk, it was hard to know when she'd have time. It was nice to talk to her by herself. Of course, there were lots of times when we had hangers who wanted us to pay attention to them, but even still, we had good QT. And E and Hoppie geeked out a bit.
E was grateful for someone to truly geek out with. N isn't really exceptionally techy. And she was grateful to be able to talk about her job frustrations. E doesn't really have the patience for that.
I want to buy this for hoppie: http://www.vat19.com/dvds/finger-drums-tabletop-drum-set.cfm
Yes, I'm out of candy. I just haven't had a chance to go shopping. I'm sorry. I fail at life utterly. Can I please stop having this conversation. I promise I will bring in more. I really, really will.
(I've decided to do short takes like these instead of a formal trip report. I sat down to write a trip report yesterday and completely froze. Then I realized I'd rather log the little vignettes that interested me rather than attempt to lay everything down chronologically.)
Hello spring. I can't see you outside, but I know you're out there. I feel you in my heart, and I'm looking forward to spending more time with you.
