When you see this, post in your own journal with your favorite quote from The Princess Bride. Preferably not "As you wish" or the Inigo Montoya speech.
"Good night, Westley. Good work. Sleep well. I'll most likely kill you in the morning."
It seems like "Life is pain, princess, and anyone who tells you differently is selling something." ought to be on the do not post list too.
Current Mood: geeky
Current Music: Dropkick Murphys "Fields of Althenry"
crap. so much for MY quote....
I've changed my mind. Since "I do not think that word means what you think it means" isn't included in the list of vorbotten quotes, "Life is pain" shouldn't be either.
I was going to comment about that line since it's certainly the line from the movie I the most in real life.

"You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous is 'Never get involved in a land war in Asia.' but the second, and only slightly less well known, is this: Never go in against a Sicilian when DEATH is on the line!!!"
They were both poisoned. I've developed an immunity to iocaine powder.
I think I fell in love with him when he uttered that line.

Yay! Will do. :)
Marci and I went to a book signing for the first Artemis Fowl book and during his talk Eoin Colfer said that TPB was his favorite book and Star Trek his favorite television series. When we got in line for the actual signing, we made him laugh with our inscription requests - "Live long and prosper" and "Never get involved in a land war in Asia"
Once you move beyond the obvious ones, I'd probably pick:
"You're trying to kidnap what I've rightfully stolen."
I was thinking the second quote you put up as well. *sniff* That just seems to suit what I'm going through.
