05:31 pm - Defining the project
Well, we have just passed the middle of the month. It's less than 30 days until I've been married a year. And I have no idea what to get him.
While money is not object in theory, in princible, I am somewhat limited. For instance, I would dearly love to get him a pinball, but the ones he likes are in the 2K range, and that is beyond the scope of my abilities.
Other than that I'm open to suggestion.
He likes music, t-shirts, and gardening.
He has a Sony Clié and not much interest in owning additional gadgets, (beyond the vastly enlarged TiVo, but I don't think I can justify having Chip upgrade ours as an anniversary present.)
There was a pretty nifty looking pin for 800$ semi-mechanical, and he might like that. I don't know.
But I'm definitely open to suggestions. Please help!
(I can't even make this a poll because I haven't got any ideas. *whine*)

You don't really think he reads this, do you?
No, ipod, I don't think he'd be interested. He's never shown even a passing interest in my mp3 player. (I know, it's not an mp3 player, it's an IPOD!) but when would he use it. It's illegal to use in the car. He has the hoppiecam soundtrack at work and at home, he doesn't really listen to music.
*chuckle* imagine hoppie actually reading my livejournal...

who wouldn't love an iPod? I got ckd ( one for his birthday last year. I even had it engraved. He was one happy guy.

as for pinball, you could have our pinball machine. we never use it. I don't know if it's Hoppie's style, though.

(glad you couldn't make a poll as I can't vote in them!)

anniversaries are difficult..lessee..what do men said no alcohol..well..seems a little impresonal. women! get him a stripper..or three. I'm not the jealous type but even I wouldn't do that for my man :) so..what do you get for a man who has everything? How about more memories? Take a trip together..go to the hot tub place..or a spa or something. You could get a tattoo. I think 'I love Hippie' would be perfect ;-) Then give him 5 minutes, a blindfold, a gummy worm 'X' to mark the spot..and see if he can find it! Pin the 'x' on the tattoo! Fun for the whole family!

yes, once again, I have not slept..I should never read lj in this state..and yes, I really do think misspelling his name would be hilarious..but then I'm kinda mean :)
